Who we are

JokeDADAbase.ai is a family-run app that helps dads tell better jokes and capture their kids' reactions. It is intended for adults (18+) creating memories with their own children.

What we collect

• Account: your email and a username.
• Usage events: which pages you view and which actions you take, to improve the app.
• Cloud clips (Pro only): the video and poster you explicitly upload, plus the joke setup/punchline and optional kid tag.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.

Videos of children

Uploading a clip is always optional. Captures stay on-device by default. You must be the parent or legal guardian of any child appearing in a clip you upload, and you must be 18 or older to create an account. By uploading you confirm that.

You can delete any clip individually, or wipe every cloud clip from Your account. When you delete a clip, we remove it from our storage; backups roll off within 30 days.

Who we share it with

Our subprocessors are Lovable Cloud (hosting, storage, database), Stripe (payments), and Google's Gemini API (joke generation only — prompts contain no video). We do not sell your data and we do not use your clips to train AI.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Cloud clips are kept 30 days after a subscription lapses, then permanently deleted. You can request deletion of your entire account by emailing privacy@jokedadabase.ai.
